Gregory Benjamin – Vampire 4×4 Tour
We are John and Mel who were on the ill fated July 2014 Vampire Tour. The first few days were as expected with the planning attention to detail obvious – until the rains came! With our vehicles stranded, the road washed away, and the water level rising the situation had the potential for real disaster. However working as a team , and with Marcin’s extensive local knowledge and contacts, we survived an adventure that we shall never forget. The company made all arrangements for onward travel home and return flights to repatriate our vehicles. We plan to travel again with Marcin soon and fully recommend his tours if you want adventure with comprehensive backup.
Mel and John – Vampire 4×4 Tour
My wife and I had a great interest in participating in the World War II Memorial Tour but did not have a 4×4 car. We contacted Marcin and told him our situation and from that moment on our tour was a great experience. He not only offer us his car to make this Tour possible but he did every thing to satisfy our needs so as to have a wonderful trip in Poland. We not only learned a lot about World Word II but also and most important of Poland idiosyncrasy and way of life that enriched very much our knowledge on this country. I will fully recommend 4x4zone to any person interested in one of his Tours.
Maria, Carlos i Sofia – World War II Memorial Tour
Marcin (and Renata and Marisia!) are a lovely family who make a great team for guided 4×4 Tours. We were on the inaugural Montenegro 4×4 tour, and had a great time, despite a few challenges on the way! Marcin dealt with them all, and provided us with a great tour, visiting many beautiful parts of this small but spectacular country. Would definitely recommend Marcin and the 4x4zone team for future tours!
Mike & Ewelina – Montenegro 4×4 Tour
In 2015, as part of a much larger Eastern Europe and Scandinavian 4×4 trip, we decided to join Marcin on his Memorial WW2 expedition. This we did as a means of attaining a far deeper insight into Poland, her people and particularly her wartime history, than would have been possible had we attempted the trip by ourselves.
Having had no means of contact with Marcin, for some months prior to our arrival in Gdansk, we were greatly impressed and relieved to find our bubbly and irrepressible host waiting at the door of the hotel for our arrival. During the course of the tour Marcin demonstrated his deep passion and love for his mother country. Many of the insights Marcin shared with us went well beyond those normally provided by tourist guidebooks, and were only assessable because of Marcin’s ability to tap in to a huge network of local information, tied in with his own encyclopaedic knowledge on the subject.
The detailed planning showed a high degree of professionalism. The information package provided by Marcin was a real gem and a source of future reference. Throughout the trip, Marcin was able to keep a degree of flexibility within his itinerary, adapting the programme as needed to cater for unforeseen hiccups. His accommodation choices brought some pleasant surprises, allowing us to experience the true polish culture, at a very reasonable cost.
We will always remember Marcin, as an unflappable character, with a wry sense of humour and a very deep sense of professionalism. We would not hesitate to take further trips with Marcin and would recommend 4x4zone to others seeking a reasonably priced historical and cultural tour with the added bonus of some real 4×4 action.
