Day 6

Day 6 began with one of our tents being torn into pieces by gale force. The weather doesn’t make it easier for us you know! And guess what – it is still raining! After 41 miles the decision was made to swap the routes. So we went onto 7C Transfagarasan Highway – the second most incredible road when thinking of views… Hundreds of turnings, steep sides and absolute beauty of the landscape! Additionally the temperature dropped to 2 degrees of Centigrade. You have to be there for yourself to see and feel it all!
We hope the August expedition will get a bit better weather, so fingers crossed! Tomorrow it’s the end… and we’re getting back to UK.
